Kate took us through her personal and carer journey that was so captivating. She demonstrated the focus and tenacity required to get to fulfill your purpose.
This was covered by the amazing Alison Atkins. Alison is a Sainsbury's buyer who has an NLP mastery. Alison the understanding of the conscious and subconscious mind. The 4 pillars of NLP and also shared some of the great books to read.
This was covered by Stella Kikoyo and Tanya Tumbeva. This was hands on workshop that took the ladies from understanding fear from a neuro perspective to real life perspective and approaches on how fear can be overcome.
This three hour workshop was provided by Stella Kikoyo (facilitated mindfulness), Denise Wright (facilitated Meditation) and Alice Pead (facilitated Aromatic yoga) to IWAW ladies and those out of the group. The workshop allowed us to connect the mind with body in a very relaxed atmosphere.
This was a challenge to help us improve our appreciation and gratitude towards the good things in life instead of being clouded by the negativity around us. Gratitude is know to be an antidote to what affects our lives - fear and anger. Use gratitude in every moment to change your life.

A vision board masterclass was provided by Stella Kikoyo to a means of inspiring IWAW women to create their dream lives, their desires, values and goals. To allow them to move and grow into areas were they have passions. Allowing each one of them to start believing in possibilities.
Alison Atkin took us through this emotional management technique. It is one of the techniques that one can use to overcome undesirable emotional changes like fear and anxiety. This technique enables you to have improved personal power, clarity and peace. One of the techniques that can be used by anyone and anywhere to help them go through certain undesired emotional states.
Mindfulness sessions have been held every Saturday via zoom throughout the current lockdown.

On April 25 we held a timely yet capturing talk from Cecelia Fadipe FCMA on money and giving in the wake of the global pandemic.
Different perspectives were discussed that created a new collective understanding towards money and contribution.
This was another inspiring and captivating talk from Margaret Ononogbu. Margaret discussed her journey from being a communications police officer to a computer science teacher - her dream profession. Margaret used a spectrum of success principles like the principles of visualisation, believing, focusing and taking actions like networking to help her to make this jump. Margaret also demonstrated how these same principles apply in other areas of life.
We create Networking opportunities before and after every meeting. These enhance connections and relationships with each other. We see email and phone numbers being exchanged and collaborations developing out of these.
